Jazz Dance Classes
Laura offers a fresh and unique approach to her Jazz Dance classes.
Laura draws influences from such jazz greats as Jack Cole, Bob Fosse, Nat Horne, and Fred Benjamin, with an emphasis on individual growth and performance, clean technique, stylization, breath, and musicality.
Dance for Theater
Laura has decades of professional experience in off-broadway dance performances.
She instills confidence, strength, and a feeling of accomplishment in her students, enabling them to evolve into their own self-discovery of moving through space in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.
Ballet Classes
Laura trained extensively in ballet with Jacqueline Schumacher, Nanette Charisse, and Finis Jhung.
Laura’s emphasis on stretching, visualization, and breathing opens up the body and the senses. Her ballet classes are a great workout, building core strength, and always fun.
